PAULINO HERRERA HAS RETURNED TO THE FOLD

ASL Member Founding Member Post #18539 Replies closed

Looked at the Local Forum, that normally backs the Council opposition, and saw that 3 days ago Paulino decided he preferred having a job, so he has rescinded his letter stating that he was resigning from the Council. It seems that he states that he is now in perfect harmony with the PP and PIPN Council.
Which I find rather strange,as one of the reasons for resigning was proved to be true, That reason was that one of Jeffs assistants was not attending (or did not attend work). This was confirmed by jeff who stated that the person involved was at college.
Personally I feel that we have been sold down the river and Paulino is not the man many thought he was.
He looks to be like some of the other Councillors etc. who live by the motto "me first and sod the rest of you"

ALAN,
As I said in a previous post to your goodself "the man has little or no integrity". I still cannot understand how he has acted without having thought through his problems?
I agree with you on the matter of keeping his job and his attitude of me first and sod you lot!

Don't often agree with each other Friendly, but on this occasion, it looks like we do. Its a shame really. but I actually liked and trusted the Guy, shame he has let us all down.
He could of course gain brownie points, if he has the guts to tell us all, ,what things, the Mayor did that were not in the councils or the peoples interest, I am meaning the things he said in his resignation letter about the Mayor, The shame is he will never mention them again, Having a wage is more important to him than truth and honesty.

Why the hell should he explain to you what the problem was it is now resolved.
He happens to be one of the better councillors you dont see his mugshot in the papers every week doing good things for charity. He just gets on with his job.You have only heard what the problem was from the press release from Jeff.

I agree, leave him alone to do his job, and a good job he does, when he is approached he is attentive, listens to what you have to say, and then takes action, not like the other councillor.....

Paulino resigned, one of the reasons HE gave was that the Mayor made some wrong decisions knowing that they were wrong. As far as I am concerned if they were wrong three weeks ago they are still wrong today. The fact the Paulino has got his job back does not change that.
I never said Paulino had to tell me why he resigned or took his job back,I stated that he should tell US what decisions the Mayor took that he knew were wrong. I gather we are entitled to know about any such goings on.
As for the rest of your comment, if you bother to read other comments that I have made, I have always backed Paulino to the hilt. Also I didn't get my information from Jeffs press release, but from Paulinos one. But again if you read the comments made by me on Jeffs press release, I just picked holes in the first section of that release, I didn't bother with the rest of it because it would of filled a page for one comment.
So if you don't want to read a comment by me please pass it by as you seem to of done as yet

ALAN,
Ever get the idea you are banging your head against a brick wall?
If these gentleman believe that supporting a politician who clearly is incapable of analysing a problem and coming to a final decision after, in this case consultation the "offending parties", resigning then taking back his resignation is a suitable decision maker where we residents are concerned then God help them and the other 12000 of us!

Get your figures right not that many signed on the Padron as usual you and Alan are the only ones who are right why arent you both on the Council. See what a cock up you could both make

DAVID
Padron? who mentioned Padron or numbers thereon?
Our politicians tell us that 12000 people or so live in San Fulgencio in total and of course all 12000 will be affected by all decisions whether they are on the pardon or not. Is that not how decisions making in the town hall works?

david,
Yet again, I ask you simply to read my comments, and try to understand what I have written.
Now you accuse me of always thinking I am right.
If that is anywhere near the case, then why have I clearly said in my previous comments that I supported Paulino to the hilt, until finding out that he had joined the Council again and claimed that all members are singing from the same hymn sheet. Surely this proves, That I have a point of view about a lot of things, but am, and do change my thinking, with comments that other people make.
As for the why don't I try to get a Councillors job, again hard for you to understand no doubt, But I do not need the money, I do not need a job, and furthermore if I needed a job, it will be of my choosing and not of your suggestion.
As for the voting, yes I did. Although why that makes an iota of difference I do not know. Regardless of, if we voted or who for, We all still end up paying these people to look after our interests above their own. If at anytime I feel they are not doing so, surely I am allowed to voice my opinion of the fact.
I at no time force you to agree with me, you are welcome to voice your opinion into what you think,
