So looking forward to our holiday this year....we fly out tomorrow for 3 weeks in La Marina, just in time for the Fiesta. So pleased Colin and Susan have taken over and opened up the Hillside pool. My boys already have the first few days planned, quiz at Hillside Thursday nite, fiesta over the weekend, with meals at posh palace and the Grill House...lazing round the pool or down the beach during the day. Hope the Hogs Head has reopened us we've had many good nites there too....see you soon

Thanks Mazza, La Marina is a wonderful place and all the old moaners will never change it for me. My family have owned a villa there for over 25 years and we have seen many changes. There is so much available now for all age groups and I do envy those that can live there or stay for longer periods, but once I retire I'll be joining you all....well that's the plan, we never know whats round the corner which is why I try and live life to the full.

Wendy,how right you are. Enjoy what you can. I was married 35 years before my first husband died. I had a wonderful family and made a good life for myself which wasn't easy. After 12 years of widowhood, I met the lovely Mr Smith. In 18 months we'd married and moved here. A new life I didn't expect at 66. We've been in our house 6 years and love it. We've even called it Our little Heaven. How can anyone not like it here, we love it Mary Catherine xx
