La Marina Pride

Take a bow La Marina. Friends of ours have just spent a week at our place and had a superb time. They were so impressed by the friendliness of people. Their teenage children were befriended by other local kids and had a ball.....and were safe. Unlike back in the UK they were able to afford go out every evening as a family to eat, drink and dance to the entertainment in the bars to their hearts content. They can't wait for a return visit. Special mentions go to Alloa's, Tia Maria, and Rex the taxi-man. Personally I think La Marina is a wonderful place and miss it more and more the longer I am away from it and look forward to getting back. So all you positive friendly people take a bow and all the negative ones ........ask yourselves why!!!!!!

thanks for your positive comments. You're so right. La Marina is a fabulous place to be. Most of us locals are friendly and the Spanish who look after us excuse us for our lack of Spanish, they even apologise for their lack of English. WE often sit with our friends their terrace at sundown enjoying their hospitality viewing the most wonderful sunsets. As she often say, "If you were a millionaire you couldn't beat this". Some people enjoy life but unfortunately others can't be at peace. Keep coming, we call L M our little piece of heaven. xxxMary Catherine
