Just been to Curry Mahal for a meal. Ooooohhhhhhhh, bliss. The grandkids haven't been before and they really enjoyed it. I always have the chicken chat starter, and that's a meal in itself for an old, not very mobile lady, so my chicken madrass main has come home with me. We're so lucky here, we have 2 extremely good curry houses. We're there again on Wednesday as a relative is 70 and though she lives in Catral Curry Mahal is her choice for a meal. lovely people in that restaurant but the only time I got a take away from there for my hubby he said it was the worst curry he ever had, did not bother to finish it and went straight in the bin. Had 2 take away from Posh Palace and that was just amazing quality, I guess depends on people and their taste.

Hi Mauri, I believe curry is a very personal taste. Some you love some you hate. My hubby is Anglo Indian so we love our curries.
We've eaten them in England, Ireland, Scotland, ,India, Eygpt, more places than I can remember. We've taken people from Uk and Spain to Curry Mahal and never had one of them not enjoy their food, even non curry eaters. However the grandson we took this time Nathan Paul is the fussiest eater I've ever met. Not only did he enjoy his Jalfrezi so much, he's frozen 2 to take back to UK tonight. I said they should get a huge banner that saya "EVEN NATHAN PAUL EATS OUR CURRY" We're there again Wednesday for a celebration. I'm salivating already just thinking about it.
