Just a word of warning to anyone out there that if in the future you receive a rental enquiry from a family of 4 brothers in the name of Wright then beware! These 4 have just spent the last 3 nights at Cagney's B&B and have done a runner without paying their bill of 210 Euros. They were over to visit their father who lives in Calle Madrid for a few days. They have left the rooms in a terrible state and ripped the shower curtain down . During the night they behaved like animals running up and down the corridor shouting, screaming, swearing and banging doors. I have an elderly lady also staying who is very traumatised by the whole event and was ready to leave this morning if they were still staying. She was too petrified to come out of her room!
We are absolutely disgusted that these men in their mid thirties with young children back in England behaved in such a disgraceful way. We are a quiet friendly bar and were totally unprepared for such an awful few days. La Marina isn't used to behaviour like this.
Needless to say future bookings at Cagneys B&B will require payment on arrival. It's a pity that the minority have spoilt it for everyone else.

do what most hotels do. Get a credit card and verify it. I've been in your game and had pi.... beds, broken doors etc, but if you have a credit card details you can usually get some sort of reccompense. How sad that we can no longer take people at their word. I wonder how they'd feel if you published their wrongdoing in their local news paper. I suspect that goes against their "Human Rights". Better luck in the future xx

sorry to hear about the scumbags, Kate.Just hope the Father of these pondlife (if he exists)has not only the guts to come forward and name and shame them,but he realizes just what scumbags he helped bring into this world,j ust hope their horrendous outlook on life doesn't rub off on there Children.
Hope the Elderly Lady has got over her trauma, which may of caused her more damage mentally than we will ever know.

Decent words fail me, the others are too rude I would take I.D copies, proof of home address + deposit up front, spoils the friendly way but in this day and age so what, it may safe guard you staff and guests.

you always get the odd few Idiots, Sorry you have to suffer that but remember its not everyone. We have some very honest people in the restaurant, even people telling us we havnt charged them enough. We hade one family last year walked without paying, but it is rare.
