I now have another problem. The Electric UNDER BLANKET has decided to pack up (only had it about 10 years - nothing lasts does it ha ha).

I just cannot believe that my Hot Water Bottle and now the Electric UNDER Blanket have both died at the same time.

This morning we have to try and find a nice furry hot water bottle PLUS now an Electric Under Blanket.
Is there anywhere on the urb that I can get the blanket from?

Do Primark do Electric UNDER Blankets? - if so, I might as well go there and hopefully get both at the same time.

Try the English bedding Centre in Torrevieja, good value, we purchased our first pair from Carrefour didn,t last 5 months but didn't keep the receipt, so told tough, no receipt no change, that's why we don't shop there any more.

Opposite the Casino ( that's how I know) going South come off the N332 at Carrefour, go across the roundabout round the next one so you coming back on the other side of the road and it's on the right in side street opposite Casino entrance, you could pop in and win the money to pay for the Blanket and hot water bottle.xx

SUCCESS - I have now got a brand new blue furry hot water bottle (from the Chemist up the strip). The lady had only just put it out and it was the last one.

PLUS, also got the Electric under blanket from Euronics (up the strip). Very nice, friendly man serving that speaks very good English. We have bought quite a few things in this shop over the years.

SO, very pleased that we had such a successful morning.

Oh also just been down to the village and got a spit roast chicken for dinner tonight.

Carol, please could you direct me to Chicken shop?
I know where i am from the pet shop with vets opposite, if i'm facing the vets do i go left or right? alternatively if i'm at the traffic lights (ceramic shop) am i anywhere near? Just finding my way around the Urb, now venturing further out, directions would be really helpful, Thanks

Yes at the ceramic shop turn right. It's just down the road a few hundred yards on the right. A chicken is 7.90 euros and they are lovely - we ask for a lot of gravy with ours - well the Spanish lady calls it gravy, but it is really cooked in it's own juices. Hope you Enjoy

go to yorkshire linen shop on Queseda, they sell electric underblankets and hot waterbottles.
