San Fulgencio Fiesta del Remedio

San Fulgencio La Marina Fiesta del Remedio 28th September to the 14th October 2012

San Fulgencio and La Marina will be in fiesta from the 28th September to the 14th October 2012. The annual fiesta in honour of the patron saint, the Virgen del Remedio includes many activities like a Sevillian party, flower offering, carnival parade, bike route, charity gala, children's games, traditional ribbon race and of course fireworks! The programme in English is below, take a look at the brochure (page 16) for some photos of previous fiestas.

Friday 28th September
22:00 Sevillian Party with traditional Andalucia dress, music and dancing at the Recinto Ferial (municipal marquee).

Saturday 29th September
20:00 Parade to collect the Fiesta Queens and their Ladies in Waiting accompanied by the prize winning Unión Musical de San Fulgencio Band.
21:00 Coronation of the Fiesta Queens, followed by live music by Danial Diges '¿Dónde estabas tú en los 70?' and Fusion-Dance in the Recinto Ferial.

Sunday 30th September
10:00 Chocolate and Churros (long doughnuts)
11:00 Parade with all of the associations and music bands of San Fulgencio.
12:00 Paella Contest at the Recinto Ferial.
20:00 Concert by the Music Band of San Fulgencio at the Recinto Ferial
