A new local British radio station will be on air from next Monday, Radio Torrevieja will be broadcasting on 107.1 fm from 8am until 10pm seven days a week. Their website has more information and the full schedule.

Hi, forgive me if I am wrong, Is this not the same radio that was closed last week for complications in the legalities of radio? TKO? I find it hard to believe that a station that was closed not so long ago for legal issues can come back on so quickly!! As a listener in business who know people who have advertised with the "former station", how do we know that they are legal now, and not continuing to do what they were doing before, but just hiding under a different business name?? My point is... If TKO were facing "legal complications" before and have now rectified their issues, why are they hiding under somebody else's name and not returning back as TKO, bigger and stronger than ever?

Sorry, when I said somebody else's name I meant another business name... My English isn't perfect all of the time, but I try!! Which still leaves my question not answered though...

I am having trouble with the reception in Catral, although it works in my car ? I think the reception is better nearer the coast. or you can listen on line at radiotorrevieja.es
