I think Nikki AJs bar has put her name up see other post/advert tongue in cheek saying they only make a noise with the extractor when making food meaning they abide by there terms etc well done to you if they can do it why not others

Well I for one is very confused

Admin said they would print a list of bars if one was sent to them.

Only one bar out of the many in La Marina decided to comment on this and got to the point that they are going to take legal action on the site.

To me this was an indication that maybe they had something to worry about.

But all I have ever heard about this bar was they lived by the rules. So why threaten people?

Could be lets hear there side After all they must be on the "good boys" list as they have already spoken up before and want to do the right thing along with the rest that are legal

And they should take action if they are being put in the wrong
after all its there living and future of there bar that's at risk and at times like these all the legal places need all the support they can get

The subject of the bars, noise etc. is now getting so b..... boring its unbelievable.
Give it a rest before you drive everybody off the forum. Get out and do something with your lives, you are only here once. Make the most of it.

Sometimes we read things differently to what is written.
Personally I thought Nikki said that if her bar appeared on a bad bar list she would talk to her solictor
.That I am sure means,that she believes everything she does iswithin the law,and therefore if someone puts into words,that she is not lawful ,she would talk to legal people,to make sure that the comment made was libellous or not

I think you maybe are right, I was just finding it hard to make sense of the situation, even more so when she went on to say "I would just like to say that if my bar were to appear on the list I may seek legal advise on this matter, weather you be in the UK or not" this gave me the impression that she would be taking legal advise regarding the site and its owners.

Strange response as no one had even pointed the finger at her.

No Tina is it quite clear the words are "take legal advice".It is prudent to do this.Before taking ant actions you deem are needed,

No raotl or whatever your stupid name is, I do not hang around lots of bars. I never go out at lunch times and only one or two evenings a week. Not that it is any of your business. I do not ask you or anyone else to pay for my drinks. I spend a lot of my time working for an animal charity, in the shop, or at home. But, like a lot of these people trying to make a living, I have been in the hospitality business and I know, from personnel experience, what it is like to have to put up with jealous competitors, and loud mouths, and as for old people I have just celebrated my 70th birthday, but i am not a miserable old fogey!!!!!! As for not living near any bars, I live up the road from the Hogs Head, and no I am not complaining about any noise.

I agree with you totally Eve, this is not a rehersal, stop moaning on this Forum it used to be interesting but now it's got very childish & boring. Nikki from A.j's is a lovely caring person and what she has said has been taken & twisted to suit the sad people on this Forum who have nothing better to do with their time. I read this Forum ever day hoping for local happy news & information about local happenings it was like this in the begining, what went wrong??christine

I've just read your post 2nd casa. You said there's a problem naming the illagal bars. Is this regarding music/entertainment, if this is correct then every bar apart from any bar that has the corret sound proof and double glazing blah blah is illegal to have any kind of music entertainment. Thats the gist I seem to be getting.
But what does it matter, everyone's happy when they go out and have a good night an so on.
