Thank you Jeff for taking note of our comments about the noise around the Consum 2 area ive seen on your site you will be visiting the bars cafes etc to see if they are complying to the full rules and regs required by law as of this week I now have the address of the department in Alicante who can enforce these rules licencese etc I can pass it on to you if you dont already have it please can you reply .

I live near the bars, and many thanks to the bars (Hogs Head or Irish Bar) last night for pumping out music that could be heard inside my house.
Jeff please sort this out, it's being going on for too long and has gotten worse since last summer. The Bars do need to be sound proofed and must be made to keep ther noise inside.

Thanks for the info.Syd.I had already looked at that,but it says nothing about Jeff visiting the pubs and bars,The fact that skywalker hasnt answered is possibly the words he wrote were not the words he read.
Problems arise when people mis-quote what they see or hear,Hence the problems on this site a few days ago.

I have only been in the Hogs Head a few times since it opened,and it was noticeable that each time anybody walked out the doors were closed immediately.so I believe that they were doing as much as possible to keep the noise inside rather than force it onto people who were home and wanting a bit of peace,personally i lived about two hundred yards from Heathrow Airport,so peace is not what I am used to.
From what i have read it seems that the people running the Hogs Head really do not want to upset the locals,and I am sure that if you pop in to have a chat with them,they would do all in there power to help ease the problem for you,If you can do this i am hoping you will put the result on this forum

No point chatting with a bar owner, been there done that.
Best leave it to the Jeff & the local Police, they know the law better than I do, let them try to sort it out.
If nothing is done, then pass the problem onto licence authority in Alicante and let them sort it out.
Noise limits in Spain, residential areas are 55 dB(A) and 45 dB(A) for day and night-time respectively
Anyway, enough said on this topic, better leave it to the experts.
Did not intend to mislead anyone, I have spoken to several of the Consum 2 bar owners over the past years, basically wasted my time. However I have NOT spoken to the Hogs Head staff.

I think you must be mistaken, I can confirm that myself or my wife have never met you or been introduced to you, or that any conversation with you in person or other, or any other member of our local comunity to date has come into our bar & made a complaint about noise spacifically from our bar.
My invitation to discuss any issues regarding our bar is still open to you and anyone else. Perhaps you would like to pop in for a chat.
Paul. It's good of you to offer for them to come in and chat to them but es got to the point where at least 50% of the people on here are trolls and just want to cause hassle

Thanks for taking an interest in this thread, anyone who actually knows me & my wife, know we do genuinely care about this community & want to work with the community, if people in general came in & spoke to me face to face, they would have an insight into my plans for the future of our bar.
