We want to build a roof terrace and are looking for a builder who can see us through the process from drawing up plans, obtaining relevant license's through to building work. Any recomendations? thanks
I can recommend Mark Allen, he has been here many years, is legal and does a good job for a sensible price. He is away for a week or so on holiday so you may or may not get an answer on his phone. His number is 664835433

hiya karen,...please be very careful when employing the services of a builder over here,...although most are very good, not all are fully legal.
I happened to hear about an incident last week,..that took place a month or so ago, where a couple had paid for an underbuild conversion to be done by mark allen,..all the work was going well and was finished to a good standard,...but after i think almost a year mark had still not provided them with the licsences,( i'm not quite sure how that can happen)...the woman then was running ragged round the urb trying to track him down in various bars etc as now her underbuild is classed as illegal,...please,please be careful
