S.A.T. need dog walkers

Hi linda
We could save our soft drink cans for SAT that we have at the bar, but I dont always have a car to take them to wherever the collection point is. If anyone is able to pick them up from us once a week we could save them no problem. Is it also cans as is baked bean cans?

Hi Nikki if you message me on the forum I will come by and collect any cans you have. As you can appreciate space is not at a premium in the SAT shop and I need all my available space at the moment for things for the fete. So they are better in my garage. Cheers Eve

I could arrange to pop in once a week and collect them and yes it is all cans / tins.

I(f anyone would like to try dog walking, we have two seats in our car free for Sunday afternoon and we would be more than willing to take you if you live on the urb.

I think S.A.T S PAWS K9 AND ALL OTHER DOG ORGANIZATIONS, should get together and sort out the dog problem on the urb

I am just a volunteer for S.A.T. they are based in Delores and myself, my hubby and our friend go every Sunday and Tuesday afternoon to walk their rescue dogs.

We are now also collecting tins / cans to try and raise some money towards the upkeep of the dogs and my dear friend Eve Waring manages the shop on the urb and is constantly organising fund raising events as the vet bill is approx 5,000 euros a month, so I think S.A.T. defo do their bit to help abandoned dogs, as i am sure the other organisations also do.

f.castaway as the manager of the SAT shop in La marina I feel I should point out that SAT are an independent charity with their own kennels in Dolores, and I think it is wrong of you to try to lump us all together. I have never commented on the situation with K9 I neither know or want to know anything about it. I run my shop, with the help of 20 volunteers, and we do the job to the best of our ability. If anyone wants to question the way other charities are run, then that is their prerogative but I do not wish to go down that road. If you wish to take up this issue with the President of SAT then feel free to do so.

PAWS is just for cats f.castaway and I am pretty sure that the charities are doing their best with the dogs in very difficult times!
