As I was near where Iceland is situated this morning (down the bottom of La Marina urb), and I needed a few items I decided to call in - not a shop that I use very often. I purchased my few items and let me just say that I did not get much change out of a 20 euro note. I got back to my car and looked at the receipt and noticed that the majority of things I had purchased were over the usual price that I pay at Supa Value. My biggest shock was what Iceland had charged me for a normal Bimbo white sliced loaf.....3.20 euros. I am still trying to get over the shock. Needless to say I will NOT be rushing back to this shop. I honestly do not understand why it is so popular. Do people not check what they are paying for their individual items?

Absolutely agree with you, QueenBee. I stopped using Iceland after noticing even brand named products were not up to their usual standard. I would recommend the International shop near Sattelite Island - try their cheese - it's the best around. NB I am merely a customer and have no financial interest in promoting this shop.

agree with you I only ever go there for the odd item I can't buy elsewhere.I think the shop is a total rip off.
