Please allow me to comment on a few entries in a forum, stating that they did not believe the Autonomical Police were about in the area. I asked our Chief of Police if they had been on the Urb and he confirmed that they had been here. I am led to believe they came in unmarked cars and in plain clothes. At this time I am unaware of the results of their operation. Anyone wishing to confirm that they were here, should perhaps make an appointment to see the Chief of Police, but I am sure some will say, that because he is in the employ of the Council, he will say, what he is told to say. You cant win !
Also if anyone wishes to see the copies of the letters that were sent to Valencia, regarding noise complaints, they are in the Town Hall Registry and are available for public viewing. There are no names or addresses attached, so that there can be no reprisals to the complainers. So perhaps instead of theorising, people should stick to the facts that are known and not invent scenarios.

I will agree with what Jeff states regarding the National Police being here in plain clothes and unmarked cars as I had a encounter with them the other morning in the Grey Area as they were waiting for someone, what happened in the next 15 minutes was like a scene from the film Bad Boys ( Will Smith & Martin Lawrence ).
Stingers out on the road two vans blocking the road between Barclays properties and wossys fish shop and all of a sudden they chased a car and took it out by Aqua Car hire obviously they had a planned operation.
As for the Bars I think it's becoming a dying issue now, Bars are carrying on with live entertainment because they have too.
I've seen with my own eyes a letter that states the exact bars causing the problems and it all revolves around the consum area.. I've spoke to a few people who run bars and they have said they have seen the local police pull up outside there bar or just down the road and have not instructed the bars to stop the music but here you have members of the council telling people no more music. I think it's a case of... WHO DARES WINS.

I would also like to state, Jeff is telling the TRUTH when it comes to the complaints (letters the town hall have received)
There are no names to these letters what so ever.

Also like to add Via Venete have also closed down. As saw them removing all stock tables and chairs early this morning.

yes Jeff,I am one of the writers who query about the National Police being here,to take over the bar complaints,The Police Chief may have worded his answer to you perfectly Honestly,No one doubts the National Police have been in La Marina,a lot of people saw them a few days a go,but you dont need stingers to stop bars racing down the road,they aint going anywhere .
Will look forward in the immediate future to you divulging the results they came up with,somehow dont think you will be telling us.As for the offer of us seeing the letters of complaint,thanks but no thanks,lettrs with no names or addresses,are of no account,they could of been done by anyone.
All I have asked of you is to tell us how many letters written and how many were by different people,and the same for the so called very many form bars complaining about bars,you must have this info.on hand somewhere,otherwise you really wouldnt of been trying to sort this problem out.this if realistic would not involve names signatures and addresses,just totals,and if realistic would be believed,just cant understand why you keep on ignoring this simple task.
