This week the Club should have fished the Eden Canal, but as all the peg stages were under water, the match was changed to the drain by Mercadona in San Fulgencio. Fishing was hard as it had already been fished on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, but only two anglers dry netted. The winner on the day using the Pole was Stuart Thompson with 4.24 kilos. In second place was Dave Hill also on the Pole with 2.84 kilos. Third was Steve Collins with 2.26 kilos, and in fourth place was Dennis Pick with 1.38 kilos.

Next weeks Match should be in Murcia, but we will find out if its fish able, and put details of the venue on the web site.

Do not forget that the next Quiz night is on Tuesday the 9th of October, starting at 7.30. Cost of Entry is 1 Euro per person and teams of up to 6 or less may take part. There will be no buffet, but a few nibbles will be available. A game of Snowball Bingo will be held during the break so bring your bingo marker pens.

The next Club Sunday Meeting will be on the 21st of October, with the Committee at 10.00am followed by the General meeting at 11,00.am.

The Clubs home is at the Bar El Alto La Dolores which is situated just off the N332 between La Mata and Guardamar.
