ELECTRICITY CUTS

Yes Trevor I can remember about a year ago,when the Local Council got involved in trying to get something sorted about the cuts ,the Electriity Compant told them that they had to update thousands of fuses or something and it would take six months.Six months later,they then changed the time factor to an indefinate time scale.I believe the repairs was needed to be done because the fuses or whatever it was had to be replaced got too hot(yeah this is Spain).
I have said before on this forum,It seems everybody with any power,treat the rest of us like mushrooms (Keep us in the dark,and feed us S**T)

I felt sorry for the bars in the grey area last night. Half hour in to the power cut all you herd was the shutters coming down. I wider how many bars closed by the fiesta.

Absolutely and completely p****d off with all this. Can't Jeff sort this out? We just get our tv and computers working and then we have to start all over again. Now, this morning, we have had 2 power cuts already. What the hell is going on? How many more? Will I be able to post this before it goes off again?

I went to the fiesta,after Jessica won the 800.
because it was better than roasting,the power came back just as we got there,most people seemed to have drinks,so i gather bottles and cans were the order of the day for a while.Mind you The Take That tribute were really good and very entertaining,left just before the next long powercut so dont know if the bars stayed open during that one.

you,I and a few thousand other people are pissed off with these power cuts,But for a change I must go on Jeffs side,I dont think he can do anything about it,in fact it was he who tried to get answers before ,but as if shows now he was feed a load of B******T,by the Electricity company,I think the only way is to start putting in claims for damaged electrical equipment and see how that goes.Alternatively I believe every business must have a complaints form,perhaps we could all go and get one and fill it in(if we all do it ,they would run out of forms,we could then report them for not having complaint forms.

You are all complaining about the power cuts, it would be nice to have electric in the shop full stop. I would put up with the power cuts. We have been without electric or water at the SAT Shop for 3 weeks and, this is the first time I have mentioned it.

Yes of course it would Eve, and I obviously do sympathise with you, but you are not actually trying to work on computers or watch tv in your SAT'S shop are you? You are just renting it. If I were you I'd find another shop to rent - one that would have electric and water (well a lot of the time anyway). I hope it get's sorted for everybody pretty soon. None of us should have to put up with the power cuts. The odd one or two perhaps over the weeks, but certainly not to this extent. We still have no TV AGAIN.

Well there are rumours flying around the fiesta tht it was may be done on purpose. That's not me starting rumours. That's just what a lot of people are saying. I've now had 3 people tell me the same thIng.
What is pretty funny is.... Why we had these power cuts last night, there were street lights on on the road where you turn right after Barclays properties.... Ummmm I wonder what really happend.

No Carol I am not trying to watch TV or use a computer but, it would be nice to have a fan on to cool us down and to be able to make a cup of tea to keep us going. At least we can use Jeff's loo, not everyone who has that priviledge.
