went to the sports complex on Tuesday night which was enjoyable. I had a shock as I always believed the bar was owned by the council but it isn't. The chap behind the bar and the lovely blonde waitress own it. We've never been for a meal but the food must be good as the kitchen was very busy.I love their pizza. The staff work so hard and are always very pleasant. Next time we go to book tickets for a show we'll have a drink to support them as they provide a super service for La Marina

Sports Complex - A Top-Notch Restaurant

If you really want to go out on the town for first class treat, The La Marina Sports Complex is the place to go. The food is excellent, from pizzas and upwards. The best chicken in town. And the new menu filled with exciting dishes tickles the tastebuds. (On the simple side I can state that this is the only restaurant in La Marina (urb.) which serves authentic hamburgers, not the rather strange Spanish hamburgers which don´t qualify as such!). Mazza, what gave you the strange idea that the council owns this restaurant. The owners are Paolo and Helena del Grosso have made the Sports Complex the best restaurant in town by relentless work and attention to detail. And let´s not forget Fernando, the cook. Paolo and Helena have worked for years "on the floor" and the service is always first class. In addition the restaurant is the only one in La Marina with outdoors dance music from at least Thursday through Sunday. Additionally, the atmosphere is gret and the service top-notch!
