IVA increase from 18% to 21%

So now Spanish government has hiked the IVA again. As was stated yesterday the government are implementing cuts of over 60 billion euros in two years.
From what I was hearing on radio, when the rise comes into effect Monday some people will be paying over a extra €400 euros a years because of this IVA increase.
