La Marina Night Market

Did'nt know they were talking or thinking of one , if so it will be a fantastic idea, bringing folks into La Marina in the evening would give the bars and buisness a must need boast.

Grant, as you know I was all up for this,Unfortunately last week I was at a Jubilee BBQ,at the Hillside.At 4pm the police arrived stating a neighbour had phoned them complaining of the noise. It was at this time I thought the noise thing was getting bloody ridiculous To try to start a night market,would be a non starter,If police have to a waste their time dealing with complaints of noise in the afternoon, of what was a normal working day,What chance would a night market stand

Has anyone had a word with Jeff about starting a market one evening a week?

It seems such a shame, that a good idea which would benefit everybody, as La Marina needs something to attract and keep people on the Urb. I can not believe that anybody would call the Police at 4pm when people are celebrating the Queens Jubilee, Colin, Sue, Fred & Jayne do everything possible to keep the noise of the entertainment quiet. I for one wish I didn't live amongst these "kill joy" people, we are seriously thinking of selling up, I am sure we are not the only ones!!! I would also like to mention that I live near the Hillside and I can never hear when they have entertainment, although I can say that for the last couple of weekends I have heard people down the valley having parties until the early hours, the police arrived to stop one at 5AM!!! So how can somebody complain about music at 4pm.

Without trying to start up more slanging matches,I believe it is time for the police to act against these frivolous complaints,and perhaps do a little warning about wasting police time

I could not agree more, have these people just moved here, as there was never a problem until recently. Most people have moved to Spain to enjoy their lifes and to meet new people please let us all enjoy ourselves!!!!!
