Fiesta - Local Bars.

There is no bar supplied by the town hall this year and its nice to see that you also want to support the town hall as the money raised by the outside bar went towards paying for the music...some people

Surely it is more important to support the local bars, that need to make enough money to stay open through the winter, and continue to pay the council through Suma etc.

And help them pay for their electric.

Electrons, welcome to the site. You must be new as you'll have soon as realised that Alan is far too old to be the Boss of the site. I'm just wondering that, as I'm approaching 60, do I turn into a grumpy old git overnight or do I have to start practicing now. Advice would be appreciated. There is no bar for council this year, as I have been told and yes it is nice to support the local bars I will be the for the three nights, but local bars consist of all in la marina not just on consume square who are lucky enough to be able to make lots of money in three days and others forgotten about, the sad part is on Monday everyone is shut , I am not a political person but I don't understand why everyone is always slagging of the town hall have they actually upset you personally....

Thanks for the info, I thought that Alan was maybe part owner of the Forum or a Moderator, as he seems to respond to EVERY post on here, picking fault and nit picking etc.

Didn't realize I was nit picking,but you have a view of me that I need to clarify to attempt to clear myself.Afew things in life are hard to take,My main one is Rhematoid Arthritus,Which means that at times in my life I suffer a flare up of this condition,which means that some or most of my joints swell meaning I am in considerable pain with joint inflammation.i do not want your sympathy,other people suffer a lot worse things than me.But during these flare ups I am unable to do most things a normal active person can do,but at the moment I can still move my fingers most of the time.I use up my time doing things on the pc,it saves me from watching t.v all day.As you can tell for the past few weeks I have suffered a flare up,but hopefully this will soon recede and I can continue with a near normal lifr (albeit I will never be able to drink alcohol again)As the medication I take helps me,but will possibly damage some of my vital organs,ut on the good side you wont have to make comments about me always being on this Forum,Until of course the next flare up.Hope this clears things up between us.I hope you have a good day and go to our Fiesta (something I may have to miss this year.

There was no bar this year as all the bars gave money to pay for them not to be there, It was good to see that NO BAR ripped people off for the fiesta and charged normal prices, THANK YOU for all your support, we had a great Fiesta and I very much enjoyed it and all your company for the weekend.

Oh I cant remember your name (whoever made the comment) but if youd worked 4 day (with all the setting up and three days 11am to 4 am in the morning, youd need the Monday off. Yes we make more money than normal but not loads and we bloody deserve it.
