If I was choosing a holiday for 2 weeks, it definately would not be La Marina.
Some of the threads on this site are enough to frighten anybody coming on holiday. I know this site can be useful at times: the charities do excellent work, the pubs and restaurants advertise decent food and good nights out, however the other stuff is boring, mundane and sometimes spiteful.
It is 'gossip' like this that makes people think that we are all 'retired, fed up, bored, sad, and just sit at our computers waiting for a thread so we can 'have a go' at someone. Come on La Marina, we are better than that, leave the gossip and lets show people who read these threads that we know how to have a good time and it is worth visiting our community.

I don't think La Marina is different from other Urbs,except it is much larger.The problem is that admin at Spanish Life,allow personal attacks on people,whereas most other Forums ban them

We've lived here for eleven years now and wouldn't go back to England-land! This place is home, despite all the crap that gets put on here. It is only some people being stupid and let's face it, there are enough of them where ever you go!

Anyone living in a small community or village would realise that La Marina is a normal place with all that goes on. It is our paradise after all, and lovely place to live. I do agree that some items should be vetted, but there are two sides to every story, and feel if one submits an item that is incorrect then the truth should be told. Perhaps there should be a thread that is only for the locals!!!!..... Any suggestions on this?
