Can anyone help ??? Had the kindle Fire HD, for Christmas, still cant get any joy in setting up. It was bought and rgisterd in UK but I live here in sunny Spain

Hi. Any Kindle can be unregistered then you go to Amazon in your country and create a new account. Use the new login details on your Kindle and your sorted.

Thanks for that Jeanette, I read that some where , but do you know if I will get the display etc, in English or Spanish ,and will I lose any data that is in there at the moment ?

It is realy easy
Tap top left corner of the screen, then tap on the 3 lines top right, then tap settings, choose device options, this is 4th choice down, bottom line now is language and dictionaries, top line is languages, tap it and select english, probably this is in Spanish but I guess you will know which one is English.
