I have an English friend who will be staying in hospital for a month, could anyone tell me where I can buy a portable DVD player from please. He has tried to use an English one but it doesn't work that well probably the voltage not right, I have tried Euronics but they don't seem to have any. Any suggestions??

Should not be the voltage. May be the quality of the disks or possibly the head needs cleaning. Any of the large supermarkets should stock them, media market have a good selection

You could also try using a laptop to play the DVD / CD
Linda, the remote control for the TV is really technical for him so a laptop will really confuse him. Thankyou anyway
