Oasis Residents meeting.
I have just been informed that there will be a residents meeting in the Social Cente ( by the Police Station ) La Marina on Sunday 11th November 10:30 for 11:00am.
The Agenda being:
1: Election of new members of the committee.
2: Approval of the accounts from 11th October 2011 to date.
3: Report of the negotiations with the Town Hall about the infrastructure along with our proposals and theirs, followed by a vote.
4: Any questions. ( this should be lively ) it is time we all made our voices heard and bring this unsatisfactory situation to an end, by having our infrastucture returned to us in accordance with European Law.

I was reading a local paper a while back regarding another issue with another town and local council.
The residents of this town got together and contacted the local EU parliment and after a while I guess the local council were pressured by them to act. Guess what the local council of this town responded and rectified the issue. So may be that is the only way forward.
