As promised, we had a meeting with the Chief of Police this morning and all points raised on this forum were discussed. We are developing a course of action in order to combat all of the issues raised.

Would be great if you could let the bar owners know what the new cheif of police plans to do. If we are going to be closed down in the event of having music then tell us in advance. We stop and the residents are happy......apparently. Except of course all those that like to come out and listen to singers or go to karaoke!
As has been said before though, if there is going to be a rule applied, then it must apply to all bars all of the time.

We have been to many kareoke and music nights on the urn over the years and the ones we attend have all finished at either 11.30pm or 12 midnight and we really enjoy listening to live performers.
