TUMBLE DRYER FOR EMAUS... UPDATE

We would like to thank everyone who come into the shop and donated money to help us get the industrial tumble dryer needed for EMAUS children's home in Elche. Just over 325 euros has been raised for this tumble dryer. We were luck enough to purchase a second hand one from the laundrette company on the urb. Most people will know Ray who has the laundrette on the urb. It was delivered to them from Ray himself and left for there maintence guy to install.
There has been donations still coming in for this appeal we will pass the money onto EMAUS to help buy the bags of washing powder they need or hygiene for the children of the home. We want to thank everyone so much for the donations and the donations were coming in as far as from Torrevieja.
Also we would like to say a big big thank you to Carol and Ian from la marina admin for helping us with this.

There was a article in the coast rider regarding EMAUS children's home in Elche in desperate need for toiletries and basic hygiene for the the children. AJs bar on the urb have a drop off box in the bar for the children where you can drop any toiletries off along with hygiene for the children in EMAUS home in elche.
