Former Animal Rescue Vehicle

I dont know if Jeff will answer you Pauline,but he did say that when the vehicle had been repaired it wouldnt be used as it previously was,So the chances are you did see it being used as something else.

Hi, Just wanted to clarify that it was me, Pauline's hubby (I daren't say better half!!), who wrote this request. Also, it wasn't written to have a go at anyone, but out of genuine curiosity. Any confirmation, or otherwise,would be greatly appreciated.

Peter,I was only saying that Jeff had mentioned in print about the ambulance.I only replied with something I had read,I didnt think you was having a go at anybody.
In fact since it was commandeered by the police,I had made several attempts to find out exactly what was going on,and was always given reasons which prooved to be untruths.
In the end it seemed that their was no intention of allowing it to be used by K9. once the new council was formed.Worst of all is I believe it was a vedetta against the former councillor,who started the scheme.

Hi Alan, apologies if you thought my 2nd message was aimed at you, as it most definitely wasn't. Owing to Pauline's and my own connection with K9, I didn't want anyone to think I was trying to stir up the situation again, regarding the vehicle. It was just genuine curiosity.

Since my above posting today, I think I now have the answer, as the vehicle was actually parked outside the Police station this morning (and apparently for some time over the weekend).

I have to say that I do not really know. I do know that it is being utilised as a Multi Purpose Vehicle for many of the urgent requirements of the Town Hall. It will also be used by the Protection Civil group when it is formed. As far as Alan's comments are concerned, they are completely untrue and without foundation. As I said above the vehicle is now being used as a Multi Purpose Vehicle and not exclusive to any one group. As far as a vendetta against the former councillor is concerned, this is a load of rubbish. It is all down to economics and saving money.

Jeff,What part of what i said was untrue,If you think back,I came to see you when the ambulance was stopped and commandeered by the police,You told me the vehicles ITV had expired,I asked if the driver was fined for driving a vehicle without an ITV,you then changed to the ITV would of ran out the next day,so i then asked why was it taken by the police,if the ITV was still valid.I also then remember you saying on this forum that once it had a new ITVit would be returned to its previous job albeit perhaps not with the same charity.This was then later changed to it would not be returning to its previous job,but once a serious fault had been rectified it would be. engaged in other work.the other part which you took offence to,I clearly stated that it was in MY OPINION it was a vendetta,that has not changed,until I know differently that is still my opinion.
I have said on this forum that you will make mistakes as you are new to this job and it is a learning curve,one thing to learn Jeff I am not a liar
