we got our bed from Muebles Mariola at the top of the strip next to the old Solbank. It is not english, but it is kingsize ( the size we would know a kingsize to be). I buy english bedding to fit it etc.
I have seen cheaper one's but they are not the full size and not such good quality.Had ours 5 years and the matress is still good.
Hope that helps.

we went to Mueble Marilola and saw a bed with underbed storage that I liked but I didn't like the colour of the base. The owner rang the factory and told us he could get the colour I wanted but it would take,.............3 days.. could we wait.? What! we're Brits, to us a 6 week wait is the norm. Spend locally. Support our local shops, that's how we keep them

We bought our bed from Hacco's about 7 years ago. This one is Kingsize, we did pay a lot of money for it but the matress is over 24cms deep and when your partner gets out of bed during the night, it does not wake you up. Haco's are the other side of Formentara.

Eve, is it a memory foam matress?. We got one. Very expensive but bliss to sleep on. I had leg cramp for ages but this cleared

The furniture shop near Iceland is also very good, and lots of choice.

We bought two mattresses from Muebles Mariola about five years ago , last year we had a slight problem with one of them so went to see them. The man came and had a look and even though it was way past the two year warranty he agreed to change it and we had a new one within two days, no problem. .

Yes mazza it is memory foam. I would not be without mine. The base of the bed does not matter, it is the mattress that gives you a good nights sleep or not.

There is an bed Outlet shop just outside Pilar de la Horadada after the first roundabout on the Orihuela road - It is open in the mornings from 10:00 through to 15:00 - it specializes in English beds and the prices look good - the owner is English.

I would just like to thank the ladies who suggested Muebles Mariola for a good quality bed. We went there today and are very happy. MaRIOLA is a delightful lady and they can deliver it to Elche tomorrow am. What more could I ask for. The posts seem to have deleted so I cannot remember who put me in the right direction x

Yes we have been to the bed shop in Pilar. Very happy with service and help from the man in the shop. Good prices.

Muebles Mariola delivered our bed up to Elche no charge and they were on time to meet us at the church in Valverde. Really impressed with their service, thanks to all who recommended them xx
