Whoever it is or if you know someone who is spreading rumours, please stop, the Hog's Head is not shutting down, not up for sale & at the moment we have no intension to sell our bar now or in the future & thanks to everyone who supports the bar, me & Jan intend to hopefully be around for very long time, the recent change in our opening times is simply down to the fact that me & Jan are on our holidays, normal opening hours will resume upon our return shortly.
Now something more positive, entertainment, tonight we have ladies in red night, so come on girls dress to impress in your red party frocks, disco & karaoke provided with Barry back to back.
Saturday night from 9pm we have live music with the fabulous voice of Andy Jones, special set menu available from €9.95 include a bottle of table wine for just €3, a la carte also available.

Ditto from us here at Cagney's. The rumours are rife that we have already closed! Who makes this stuff up? The urb is suffering enough as it is without these untruths. Our attitude is if you want to know something then come and get it from the horse's mouth.
So this Sunday we have Rick singing at 6pm and the following Sunday is The Lennon/McCartney Beatles tribute again at 6pm. Kitchen open all day from 10am. Bar closed all day Mondays.

Went to collect wife from hairdressers, things were running late, sat there and was utterly amazed at the drivel that the hairdresser was saying. He never had a good word for any of the bars or restaurants up here on the estate. I understand he dose not live up here, but he depends on his income from up here. It is sad to think that people like him do not realise how much harm they do to fellow traders.
