Ian,
No wonder this Urb. is in a real mess!

We have a Councilor and his army of helpers who persistently ask either you or Carol to post messages on their behalves.

Are these people more useless than we already knew and cannot even post their own messages on this site?

Friendlyviking,
I have become dubious of some of the things appearing on ASL,since Steve started asking for people to join him on the advertising side. Also the banning by him of a member, who was suddenly told he would have to pay ASL to receive information received by ASL from potential customers,he objected strongly to suddenly being told, that what was previously free was now in many cases chargeable,I believe Steve then gave this info.to another company.Claiming that the banned member had had a pop at Steves charity,I personally did not see any reason for Steve to claim this.
I further became suspicious that something was going on at ASL,when comments from La Marina people started appearing on the Calpe site (a site Steve was trying to get off the ground and was asking for agents to help with getting advertising in)All of a sudden a lot of comments were from previous la Marina contributors, became ´´in Spain´´contributors, which seemed a bit strange as these were all local Forums,I was told by one of the people who had changed from La Marina to in Spain, that they wrote on many of ASL forums so changed there place of residence,I went onto settings and cannot find a way to do this, but quite a few people have become in spain, and the whole of the local wall seems to be changing to full blown adverts, for businesses
by in spain people, more worrying is the fact that in a few of these have comments added to the original comment,by in spain people, agreeing to the original comment.
I have noticed a few other things, that seem to be occuring, and one of those is the wording that made you believe that jeff had asked in spain people to put his comments on this forum.
If you read it carefully, the comments start with
"I have been asked to post the following"it seems strange that it doesnt say who in fact asked.
I no doubt will receive comments on why i read ASL if it is so bad,The answer is,It is a local forum and i may find some information of use to me or others, but why do i have to sift through everything trying to sort out the wheat from the chaff.
For Steve this is not a personal attack on you or ASL,just that i am fast becoming suspicious of what is happening to this site

Totally agree with you Alan, stopped posting before Christmas for the very reasons you pointed out above.
I'm close to the point of removing it from my bookmarks etc.

Alan,
This is a little to much to digest for me since I need to translate into my native language and then back to English.
A couple of times I have totally missunderstood what was meant and of course have on all occassions apologised immediately.
I am fairly new on this site and therefore have not noticed the "changes" to which you refer, however, I do believe that this site can be questioned on some of the events in here which seem strange to me!
