Have you been there?. Gosh what a change. It used to be such a dreary shop but it's now much improved. The fresh bread counter offers some lovely offerings and the fresh meat counter is wonderful. We'll certainly be buying the full chicken breast the bone and my lovely husband will be buying pork chops cut to the size he likes. The deli part is good but I wish they included some English cheese, as Consume do. It's a shop I've never liked and just went to get some cheap groceries. Today I loved being in there, a big improvement. If you haven't been,

You should have tried Lidl in Almoradi, it has always had a brilliant Deli and Butchery dept. The meat is mostly from Leon and excellent.

Yes we went down on Thursday, the day it re-opened, it is wonderful, good job we have a large freezer as all the meat and fish looked wonderful, as for the bakery, had to try the spinach pasties and the apple turnovers yum! yum!.

Everything is so much more presentable and we even got a free hot dog, drink and sweets.

Squash the last time I went into Lidl in Almoradi the Meat counter was not there. Has it re-appeared?

There was a fantastic meat and deli counter in the Lidle in Baza, when I lived in Huescar. I got all my meat fresh from there, so looks like a trip to Lidle sometime, perhaps Tuesday as tomorrow I am at rock and roll for the afternoon. Thanks for the info I appreciated it Senora Alto

Haven't been for little while, so don't know, perhaps they have moved to San Fulgencio Lidl. Guardamar used to have a butchery dept. but that also closed down a while back.
