He has a lovely voice but unfortunately as soon as the Spanish walk into the bar he plays for them, and it is the Brits who have spent their money eating in there. The spanish only come in for a drink. I would not mind if he played 50/50 but it does not work that way. Don't think we will be going there again in a hurry when he is appearing.

We did enjoy the evening. Very nice meal and wine at a very good price and very good service, but do agree with the comment above to a certain extent about the music. It is mostly Spanish but Roberto did play a fair amount of music for us English. BUT if it wasn't for the Spanish the venue would have been quite empty. I enjoyed the evening and would go back. It will soon be packed when the summer arrives and everybody is sitting outside. Can't wait !!

What a fantastic night with a great mix of music and people all enjoying the wonderful atmosphere with the lovely food and drink.

That was the first time I had seen Roberto and I will definately go again.

I imagine there are plenty of bars offering English music if that is what people want. Many seem to forget this is Spain and we are the visitors here (resident or not) so why shouldn't there be entertainment for the Spanish - and what are these moaning people doing here if they do not want to integrate?

He is good in singing any language and yes it is Spain after all.

Carol G The Sports Complex is not a Spanish Bar. Pallo is Italian and Helena Is Icelandic as far as I know. So the Bar is for a mixture of nationalities. On saturday nights it is Spanish night when Josephina sings. My family and myself have been up there and enjoyed the evening but friday nights is normally a night when the English people get in there or Germans or Icelandic or any other nationality but not normally the Spanish. I choose to go there friday night because I thought it would be a good mixture.

Just what language is Opera

El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha. Erm,can anyone help what language is this Opera?

Going by what i was taught over 50 years ago at school,I believe because most Operas were written by Italians, that became the language of Operas,since then many composers from different countries have written an Opus in different languages,Spanish,English and German and Austrian being but a few.
I could well be wrong on this but if i am right

Adam, My point is that this is Spain so no one should be surprised if they visit any bar and meet Spanish people, hear Spanish music or eat Spanish food! Isn't Spanish culture what we came here for?
