Dos Mass, at the top of the main strip.
I would recommend for food, drink and VFM (and Spanish):-
- Bar / Restaurant Ramon (Grey Area)
- Garden Restaurant (next to International Supermarket)
- Bar / Restaurant Lola (Top)
- Bar / Restaurant Serafin (near top)
- Bar / Restaurant Tia Maria (Consum area)
- Corner Shop (Calle Dublin)
All in all I think most places on the Urb. are worth a visit but I would avoid:-
- Chief O‘Neils. Felt ripped off the other afternoon when they charged us €4.30 for a large and small draft Heiniken. Informed under new management, broken glass all over terrace and planters overgrown, split and abandonded.
Try The Garden Rest.behind International store exellent Basque food , very good prices ,established ont he urb for 25 years
Been to the Garden a few times, food is fine, restaurant a bit dated, but banter between owners, makes it worth a visit.
Is this the place to the right if the International s/m, with a bar called the aquarium bar?
Further to your discussion on Spainish food in restaurants on the Urb, where is the best place to try paella for the first time? Will be there in 8 weeks and looking for good places to eat, drink and socialise
