So where is this place? I see it is advertised on the front page by Deric but if he doesn't know whether it is open or not......

Had a few minutes to spare so I googgled Hotel Montemar,Only found one Hotel by that name and it is in San Pedro Benidorm.
Look at some reviews,very mixed indeed.

Hotel Montemar, Avenida Alegria 188, La Marina, Elche, 96 541 9076. Sorry don't know if it is open.

This was because the hotel is where the pension advice was on the front page of the support page.

Hotel Montemar is always open,come out the top of the Urb by El Matador (great place for a meal/drink) turn right on to Av.San Fulgencio,down the hill past the garage,under the N332,down the hill to the traffic lights at the large ceramic shop at the high st. turn right and the Montemar is just on the right,they have their own shop next door, does great home grown fruit n veg meat,roast chicken
