After having a 15 minute conversation with one of the Mayors delegates today I'm sorry to say that all this bar talk is rumours started by members of the PIPN.
I even showed them Jeff's blog regarding the issue of a member of staff going to all bars telling them stop the music.
Note to Jeff... Your at that office 5 days a week, how about you spend a day walking this Urb talking to people trying to find out what the hell is going on. To all the bars that have been playing live music for past two-three days I wouldn't worry about these rumours that have been started by the office.
No sign of national police. I doubt there will be either as long as long as you keep the music at a sensible volume as finish at a respectable time.

The trouble is Andi,is do we trust or believe in anybody in any power,My old saying goes that they treat us like mushrooms.I have said in the past that jeff would have to put into print anything he wants me to believe,as he cannot deny it later.The same would go to the Mayor,I had the joy of attending a meeting in which he appeared a little while ago,when the unnoficial garden rubbish dump became a popular talking point,will admit I was totally unimpressed with him and came to my own conclusion that confidence and arrogance are very close together and I gave him my opinion that he had overstepped the confidence barrier and had entered the arrogant section.So all in all I would find it hard to believe anything told to me concerning this Council,and would do as many bar owners are doing and that is to watch their backs
