Also bars around the Main strip

Best thing is to take a cab to guardamar. There are 5 discos! I live there so, I would love to take them out!

Quite right ebbie59. I would keep a very close eye on my daughters while on holiday over here. A bit weird I think a stranger offering to take your daughters out. Stay clear !

Be wary of strangers bearing gifts,or offers of help to young people.
annemeid may be a terrific person,but when a newcomer to this forum starts making weird comments,then suddenly offers help to a couple of young girls,you have to be wary.
Expecially when they sign in as ¨,in La Marina;
and then claims to live in Guardamar.
Several things spring to mind,Troll,drunk,nieve,nice but strange. being just a few of them

Sorry, I just moved to Spain, Guardamar and I don;t know anybody around here so I thought it would be nice.

Quite frankly I would not let 2 fifteen year old girls go anywhere on their own in La Marina or anywhere else. My granddaughter & her friend came to Spain when they were 16(that is 6 years ago) we lived in Almoradi at the time, and I only allowed them to have a walk in Town on the proviso they were back by ten and we were in touch by mobile phone. Its a big responsibility having the care of young teenagers and you have to be more protective than their own parents. If anything happened you would never forgive yourself. Call me and old fusspot but at least they were safe and that is what counts.

I personally dont think ebble59,was thinking of the two girls going out alone,otherwise he wouldnt of mentioned about bars,I hope it was just places they could all go to,without the girls being bored after 10 minutes.I remember having to do the same sort of thing many years ago when my girls were teenagers,as it was better for them to enjoy where they are and not having them moaning every few minutes about being bored

yes thats exactly what i meant....they will be with myself and the wife.....somewhere with pool tables or table tennis.....anything to keep them occupied....

Alan I was not getting at ebbie59 he is obviously a very caring person. What I cannot understand is people recommending he sends them down to Poppies or to Guadamar to a disco.

Ebbie the Hillside sports bar is a good place to take them. Then there is the Sports Complex where they can swim. Some evenings there is entertainment at Sports Complex. Hillside have entertainment on fridays. The Hogs Head have entertainment on Thursdays and saturdays so there are quite a few venues to choose from. The Final Whistle do some nice inexpensive meals. That is to name just a few.

As for the suggestion go to Poppies are the drink laws different here in Spain in my opinion 2 15 year olds should be home by 12 not drinking untill 4.
The last lot we had on our urb on holiday were 18 they got friendly with some lads and ended up in our pool fully clothed at 5 in the morning.In my opinion live up to your responsibilities and take the out your self.

David, mark is facing his responsibilities and taking the girls out himself with his wife. He has never said he was going to let them go to Poppies. So take a chill pill.
