INTERESTING EXPERIENCE..

Hi all I thought I would share this experience with you.
Tonight while standing on my terrace on Calle Louis Gongora,near to Consum a couple were going by with their very large collie type dog and as they passed by the dog did what dogs do on the pavement and as all responsable dog owners do he got his plastic bag out and cleaned up,good so far and then he walked on a few paces and threw the bag on the hill opporsite,living over the road from this hill I decided to go over and have a word with him well it turned out he was German and could or would not speak english and all though I am sure he got the gist of what I was saying to him he did not take kindly to me and acted as though he wanted to take my head off at that I decided to leave him to his ignorance.
Quite often I walk along the hill picking rubbish up,it seems to me that this piece of ground seems to be just crying out for people to throw their litter and dog waste on it by the ammounts of it that I have to pick up either that or live next to a rubbish tip.
At least I am not moaning about the noise or the curry house.ha ha .
I would like to point out that there are bins with in 50 feet of where this guy threw his bag..

yes a problem there should be rubbish bins on the spare ground so that people could put their waste in those then they can be collected along with other rubbish..council job again tho but maybe suggest it at the town hall and they can then add those kind of things to their to do list worth a try

Negotiator why should the council put bins on waste land. There are enough bins around La marina. These people who throw their dog muck around should be fined the same as anyone letting their dogs do their business without picking it up. No I do not hate dogs, I have one of my own, but i always pick up after it. There are other things the council can spend money on without providing more bins for these dog owners. These sort of people, if they had one tied round their necks, would not use it. Some people have no consideration for others and you will not change them. Unfortunately the Local Police cannot be everywhere, so they get away with it.

adam no I disagree with you the more litter bins around the more likely people will be to use them

Negotiator you are living in cloud cuckoo land. There are loads of bins all around La Marina and people still throw their rubbish on the ground so why waste money on more.
