San Fulgencio Football club

San Fulgencio football team won their match yesterday against away at Pinoso by 3 goals to two. This puts us four points behind the team above us, who are in second position, whom we play in two weeks at Home. There are no games next week due to Easter. Only the first placed teams and then the seven teams who are in second position with the highest points are promoted into the first regional league.
It would be nice if we could get more supporters coming to the next home game because if we can gain promotion then maybe it will give the people who are always complaining some thing to do!
I would like to go on record and state I didn't agree with the comments made by Andi about 'People going back to where they came from'.
I think that was derogatory and totally uncalled for. Everyone is entitled to their peace and quiet! Rules are there to be adhered to, if you don't abide by them tough. It's your problem if the police close down the persistent offenders.

But it's a true to life statement Peter. If your in a place where you have immigrated to live and you find the musical to loud are theres nothing to do then either move some where else or go home. The fact is no matter how much people want to debate the bars and noise it won't change. If everyone who had or is having problems with noise went to the town hall and protested outside or camped outside for what your all moaning about right now then maybe serving might get done. Moaning on a forum about noise from bars won't do anything at all. Then again your not going to get a bunch of 50-60-70 year olds going out having a good old protest, instead it's done from the comfort of your home and over a computer. If you went out publicly protesting you might find you will have a lot more support than doing it on a forum. As for golfer I like reading your posts but seriously mate go to the mini town hall and do it the right way. Spanish life can't change the music laws can they or even give you advice or seeking the right way to sort it out. If you really can't stand the noise then write to alicante or the valencian goverment and find out where you stand. ( my bet is you will never hear back from tem)

Hi ,Andi as you know I do not have an axe to grind. I hope you don't include me in the 'old fogies' even though I receive my old age pension this year!
As you keep going on about going home, What do you do if a neighbour from hell moves in next door with a hound from hell? Do you advocate moving to Spain, accept the problem, move house again with all its associated costs which most people could not afford or take legal action or even TALK to the neighbours?
I will meet you on the steps of the ayuntamiento next Friday to discuss this with Carlos! As you say it's not worth a light arguing amongst ourselves. If you want to sort it then get it sorted. I use the bars but as I live quite a way from the bars I never hear the problem.

Of course I know you ain't got a axe to grind Peter. I think Carlos might be at home next Friday as its a holiday day. Although you can catch him in the impact charity shop on Saturday. As far I know I believe for bars or anyone to have any sorts of live music they have to apply to the town hall for a licence. That much I do know but it's down to var owners and the council not me.

Totally agree with all you say and yes I know it's Good Friday next week. That's why there is no football. That is on the week after when we play Ilicitana, at our home ground, who are in our second position but we will get it back! That is the reason I posted this topic but I feel the debacle about the bars has gone on too far and needs to be finished.
