No I had not seen this site 9 months ago and if Alan would care to look I was asking Jeff to reply and if that is the case as you say that the police knew 9 months ago why has nothing changed during the summer months the noise limits 45 dec at night and 55 dec day time not 90 dec. As for other comments about being a ghost town and going down hill how many bars/cafes do you think la marina needs they had to move the annual fiesta to consum 2 because of lack of trade I have spoken to several bar cafe owners in the past and they have said there are too many to do enough trade and would be glad to get out the worst thing they ever did if you look back nearly all the bars/cafes have changed hands and the new owners think they can change them into night clubs, perhaps those that dont live near could tell us what time you think we should go to bed and perhaps I could follow them home and keep them awake so they are not able to work properly because of the lack of sleep its not all about bar cafe owners making a living some of us need to as well.

skywalker just to let you now the information I gave you,is the answer Jeff would of given you including the 90 decibel limit.
If you had bothered to check the back pages of this forum you could of found the information without asking jeff again
I stand by what i have said,apparently most of contributors state much the same as myself.,So perhaps you can ask jeff where he got his decibel count from and see if he wants to know where you got yours from,Either way i am getting bored with the anti brigade.

Why don’t you just go down to the office I’m sure you'll find Jeff there most days 10 till 2pm and if he isn’t I'm sure you could make an appointment instead of this continued drawn out vitriol you seem to persist on peddling on this forum. Go down speak to the man then come back and post the outcome.

I have been reading all these comments and I cannot keep quiet any longer, I have lived here for 22years and for the first 14years I owned a bar on fase 4. It was great party night every night until T.V came, after the first excitement of having the soaps people settled down and still came out but it took more than a large measure of drink at a good price to get them out again. I had some kind of entertainment every night, every FRI. and SAT. I had music we were careful not to upset the neighbours , but if anyone did call the police they would come to the door and say turn the sound down, the complainers were told we were there first and they should have bought somewhere else if they did not like it. This happened rarely because most of the neighbours came to our bar , all nationalities iincluding Spanish . We must have done something right because we lasted for14 years and I still get people asking when am I going to take on another bar. My answer is never because the Urb.has changed too much too many whingers and people who think they know it all. This is SPAIN and it should stay as Spanish as possible. too many nationalities have become involved in the running of the Urb.so it is so different to how it was. I was once told if the noise gets to you get double glazing and air conditioning, a simple solution. I know of quite a few people who have moved away to live in the REAL SPAIN only to come back here to live because it was too noisy living amongst the spanish and they missed being able to have all the English products they can get now. We came to Spain for a different kind of lifestyle and it has been.after 22 years I cannot see myself going back to the U.K.At least here in Spain they put their own people first, Just think about it.
