Your Spanish Bank may need proof that you exist

All Spanish Banks, seem to of woken up in the last couple of weeks and are checking that all customers info. is current. So banks are writing to many customers to take proof (Passport and Green Residencia paper (before anybody thinks to tell me, I know it isn't a residencia, but that is what most people refer to it as) to the bank for them to photocopy for their records. Apparently it is the banks responsibility to inform you of this, But it is your Bank Account that will be frozen on the 30th April. So if the bank hasnt informed you yet and you are going to be close to your one,Take the proof and pop in to them at least you will still `be able to use your account after the 30th
