The club enjoyed a “fun game” kindly sponsored by Jennifer Cunningham on Saturday 22nd, and the winners were Martin Webb, Ted Winter and Mike Brain.

LA MARINA ASTRONAUGHTS

A home game against La Siesta Appolos gave us 4 points this week and 10 to La Siesta, shots were quite close 83-98 and our best on the day were Reg Jackson, Jack Chorlton and George Chambers 17-7.

Another 10 points to 4 this week, your path seems to be keeping nice and straight…

SUPER SERIES V MONTE MAR

After our 2 games home and away, we decided to “lend” Monte Mar the cup for another year, well done everyone who joined in this annual contest, it was good fun.

LA MARINA EXPLORERS

At home today against Emerald Isle Titans, but we put up a good battle with the 8 points to 6, and shot diff 112-101, thus keeping up our winning run of 4 games in a row. Highest rink today was Roger Stacey, Phil Pape and Bobbie Sims 26-10.

LA MARINA SEAGULLS

A hard game for us away to Horadada Royals today, we managed 4 points to 10 and a shot difference of 89-131, two teams won by just 1 shot, Mo Barker, Jim Freeman and Terry Perchard 19-18 and Steve Douglas, Steve Hindle and John Morgan 16-15.

LA MARINA DOLPHINS

A similar story for our Dolphins away to Mazarron Miners, points of 4 to us and 10 against and shots 91-112, best team were Susan and Cliff Rawlinson, Dave O’Sullivan 24-13.

LA MARINA SHARKS

Not our turn to win this week, just 6 points to 8 v San Miguel Jaguars, and shots 94-102, highest were Janet Parsons, Jim Manning and Bobbie Sims 21-12.
