Did you know that if your car is over 6 years old, it is best just to have 3 party-fire&theft on your car.
We have just saved over 100 euros with Linea Direct renewing our policy and it covers us driving back to the UK at Christmas as they give us a free green card.
I think you should have a red card deserting us at Christmas.

It is a good idea to look at what cover you currently have and also what you are saving if you change to Third Party fire and theft, but people must be aware that if they have a claim and the accident was their fault, then they will not be able to claim any money for their vehicle from their insurers. Also, if the accident was not their fault, unless they have taken out legal protection cover, they will have to make the claim themselves, against the Third Party. When we lived in the UK and our cars were over a certain age, we always transferred to third party, fire and theft.
I can understand paying fully comp for a new car, as god forbid you were involved in an accident you would want to re-claim the price of the car.
But, I did do my research and got 5 quotes in total and for this year at least, we have a good deal, but please make a note of my e-mail, so that we can get a quote off you next year.
