I have a comment to make and I am taken a back , I dont look to much at things in general but I am now reading BCE and CE , In 2011 in the UK , the BBC announced it would be using CE/BCE notation , I am a non-beliver however after growing up with BC and AD anyone know a reason why they changed the dates ?

As far as I'm aware, I don't think the dates change, just something to change for changing sake. I'm sure a dinosaur doesn't mind if it died Before Common era or before Christ
