Went to Jason's this morning and the new owners were cleaning it up.
Good Luck to them and their new venture. Lets hope the new broom sweeps clean and I hope the bar will now return to the enjoyable community bar it always was.
Advise the new owners to get the electrics checked. You can't be too careful.
That is naughty Marko, Lol! I am sure they will get everything checked.
Just mention that I have three spare rolls of bell wire that me, Winterbottom and Electrons can install at a reasonable price.

Marko, if we get the job, don't worry about the fuses, my boss tells me it's common practice to just bypass the lot at La Marina.
Fuses? Do they replace the tin foil that I use now?

You can't bypass the Circuit board/Fuse board using tin foil or any other metal object
you will cause fire as you take away the function of the fuse or MCB
You don't say..... I always wondered what those switchy things were near the door. By the way, I was only joking, I don't use tin foil, cut down six inch nails are much better.

hows jacks bar doing now
Jacks bar is a work in progress, we arrived last week end have visited jack most nights for a quick one lol yeah right and have gradually got use to the new owners sense of humour and I think that if everyone just gives the new people a chance I think we will have what the marina needs a local.xx
The new owners have refurbished Jacks with wrought iron shelving & white paneling around the bar. It is clean, bright and airy. Some old customers are drifting back and new customers are frequenting it. They have a TV inside & out for football & other events. From what I gather they have other items on their agenda coming later on. So time will tell, why not give them a try & see for yourself! A very pleasant bar to have a drink in.
