crystal pools
I have recently returned from visiting family and friends in the uk. while I was away my pool developed a leak, my neighbor emailed me and asked if he should arrange for the company who clean his pool to take a look at mine, I was thankfull to him as of course agreed to this well......what a mistake that was.
the work done on the pool is shoody to look at and the pool is still leaking the company employed is CRYSTAL POOLS, they charged 19 euros an hour for labour plus parts. plus i.v.a. and they charged for 30 hours of work.
they handed my neighbor a receipt you can buy from a number of local shops, the receipt was hand written with no nif number or company details ,my neighbour paid them in cash and I in turn repaid my neighbour, but I would not have paid crystal pools if I had been here, especially not the i.v.a. without proof of legality since then I have tried taking this matter up with ron mc carthy who owns the crystal pools only to be told I should only have paid when I was happy with the work done, when I persued the matter he told me to f... off, I said is this how you speak to all your unhappy customers, he told me to get out of his face he the drove off at speed. Does anybody know how I can check if all this is legal and where and how I can register a complaint against this company
Hi our communitty uses Crystal Pools we have been using them for over 5 years and cannot thank them enough for there excellent service.They have come out on a Sunday when a child drop a pair of swimming goggles in the kids pool unfortunatly they were glass Crystal Pools came and went in the pool picked up all the larger pieces and then hoovered it and within a couple of hours all was well.
I think insted of airing your grievences on here you should have called Ron at Crystal Pools and taken it up with him and giving him time to address any complaints before slagging his company off.
Although I'm not a pool company, I do tend to have customers who want to 'forget the IVA' which I cant do. If the company is doing work on community pools then I'd suggest that it is legal company.
David, that was unfair . This person stated that they did contact Ron. They were stating their case and Ron had lots of support. Sometimes people have a bad day. Can't any of Ron's supporters get these people together and try to resolve the problem. Better than this discussion on here. Come on folks, (Alan), can't you help xxx Mary catherine

Mazza,You sound a really lovely Lady,and I thank you for the confidence you have in my abilities,to right all the wrongs in this world,I only wish I could sort just a few of them out,But unfortunately I speak as I find and even that upsets some people.
But I may have some ability,I am the second youngest of sixteen Children,but I was a Seventh Son,If my Father was also a seventh Son,then I would think that I may have some mystical power,unfortunately,My Father never mentioned him being a Seventh Son,So I have to believe the mystical power by passed me.

I am Crystal Pools. In replay to your comment, I am Fully insured and Legal, Any work carried out carries up to 12 months guarantee, I have never swore at a client in all my years in business. Any complaint is dealt with in a courteous manner and if needed any remedial work carried out free of charge.
I have no record of a Mr Phill Hill and would welcome him to contact me on 636000471. to discuss the work carried out. I have never swore at a client and my little van cannot speed off !!
I have worked for many years in La Marina and surrounding areas and have a good reputation which has been earnt and maintained.
The facts that Mr Hill mentions are not correct and I do not charge 19 euros and hour. I will welcome the chance to talk to Mr Hill for the first time as I have never spoken with him in the past.
Let us hope this matter can be resolved quickly as all my work is founded on a good reputation and do not want it sullied by this e mail.

Nice comment Crystalpools,Should put the cat amongst the pigeons, I personally would agree that your version would be the correct one.
As to what really occurred ,In my mind the complainer was possibly another pool company,trying to steal a few customers of yours by writing anonymous complaint. or it was a company that has a name similar to yours,and the guy made an honest mistake , which I am sure he will apologize for.

Alan I always thought I had procreation down to a fine art, 3 babies all single births in 2 1/2 years. We always joked they invented the pill to stop us taking over the world. I bet they invented tv to give your mother a break. It must have been a bit too late. Did they all survive?, I know a lot didn't in large families.
Mr Crystal pools, good for you. At least with the comment being on here you are able to defend yourself. I can't understand the malicious rumours that are spread in La Marina.
May be along with user-id, comments should have details of when users joined and how many posts have been made. There seems to be a pattern of new users popping up, complaining about something and then disappearing.

Just how well do you know me, My youngest Sister was born in 1947 when my Mother was 44 years old, After her birth some of my elder siblings clubbed together and bought Mum and Dad a 14 inch Ekco, T.V.So we will never know if it was Mums age or the Television that was her birth control.I lost three sisters before I was born,two were babies and the third was 18 months old,As of today I have 4Sisters and 2 brothers alive ranging in age from 65 to 90.I consider myself one ot the lucky people in life as I became street wise at a very early age, thanks to be able to learn so much from so many people. Hopefully I use that knowledge correctly. I could write forever about my Family, but I am sure you know exactly how I feel
Alan you're a cracker. I was born 1940 after 3 boys. Mother said I was the anwer to years of prayer. I was the youngest and I enjoyed having 3 big brothers. My eldest brother, 79, had a stroke 3 months ago. It shook me rigid. We lost the boy next to me aged 64 a few years ago. This happening to Joe made me realise I like having siblings even though I rarely see them. We also have a brother in Canada. I laughed the other day. I remember mum reading the death column in the Manchester Evening News every night. When she was in her 70's she almost felt she'd outwitted them, by outliving them.The older she got the more depressed she got about it.I think she outlived them all and hung on till she was 94.I also remember nagging dad about his saving habit. I used to say "Enjoy your money while you can" He'd reply "I have to make it last, I don't know how long it will have to keep us". I worked for Crystal Pools for 3 years, finishing this year. I would like to think that I know Ron McCarthy and Crystal Pools better than most people on La Marina, Firstly Crystal pools does not do shabby work, they do not ask for money until the work is complete and the customer is happy with the work. Ron never I repeat never swears at his customers even behind their backs. For a Brit in Spain he is an excellent boss. What this complainant is saying is totally rubbish. What I will say their are some so called pool repairers going around the urb pretending to be Crystal Pools poaching work, I know because we almost caught them last summer.
So complainer get your facts right, call Ron and arrange for him to call round and settle this. And get your facts right before you start slagging off one of the best Pool cleaning/ maintenance company's in the area. Then come back to this forum and apologize.
And all you people reading these comments wanting to know what the truth is, Phone Ron up and invite him round to talk about your pool, you would be pleasantly supprised.

Really sorry to hear you have had trouble with Crystal Pools.
I normally clean and look after my own pool,but obviously I have no idea how to sort some 'problems,and on at least six occasions,I have phoned Ron of Crystal Pools,who has either told me on the phone how to clear the problem, or has come round sharply and sorted it, On a couple of occasions refusing payment, On other occasions like my pump packing up ,he rebuilt it and within 24 hours it was re installed and working at a third of the price of a new one,two years later it is still working perfectly.
If people have asked who could fix pools I always say Crystal Pools.I hope you get your problem sorted.
