lucky you. We asked on here for a recommendation for someone to build a small garden wall. 2 people named the same person and I have to say I was less than satisfied with the standard of his work. I wanted him to copy the wall in the next door garden but it was a much shoddier job, much below the standard of my neighbour. I also asked for a reciept as I wanted to keep within the system. The reciept he gave wasn't worth the paper it was written on, no NIE number. From now on I'll only deal with people who are recommended by people I know in future

Sorry to hear you had a problem Mazza,But I believe it cuts two ways,if you are not satisfied let the people who read the Forum know who and how you have been stitched up by.

I'd agree with Alan on that. If people on this forum pointed you in the direction of someone and you were not happy with there work then say something. You said they left no NIE number or proper receipt, so I take it you paid cash. You should of handed them a cheque.

We have a fantastic couple who we would highly recommend for painting and decorating, they painted all of the outside of our property, inc all the grills to a very high standard earlier this year and then when we went on our Cruise in May they did our lounge / dining room and two flights of stairs.

Excellent high quality work and very reasonably priced too.

When we got home our place was back to normal with the curtains put back up and all ornaments put back in their places.

This was one of my chores to paint my place when out and managed to complete Crema finish and painted the Black railings and window bars and the curved metal work in gold plus fit out a new shower and glass screen
