A day of mixed emotions with our return to our dog walking at the sanctuary after our Christmas Hols.

All the familiar faces had been re-homed - how wonderful.

But they had been replaced by many sad, poorly, nervous and thin looking dogs all needing lots of TLC and care.

One of the new dogs had heart worm and tumours, they have to treat the heart worm before she can be operated on her tumours.

One dog I walked called Twiggy was so nervous, it coward everytime someone came near him.

They had 3 litters of abondoned puppies in just one week.

Can you commit to just one walk a week please.

The dogs need walked either from 9.30 - 11.30 am or 3pm - 5pm everyday, but if you can only managed one walk a week that would be great.

We go on a Thursday and Sunday afternoon and we have just managed to twist our friends Mike & Dot to come with us.

Oh yes please, they have a few people, who when they are on holiday go and walk the dogs.

As Eve says go and talk to the staff at the satated times, or give the kennels a ring.
