A few weeks ago A thread was on this forum regarding saving plastic caps,to help children get treatment for cancer.
I know a few people were sceptical and some were saving these caps.
Today I have read on Hoax Slayer,that apparently this is a hoax that started in 2008 in the USA,and has been going the rounds since then,So it seems that everybody taking time to collect these things with the thought that they are helping someone are purely wasting their time.
I will not spend too much time explaining how these things start and then steam roll around the world,but if you are interested in knowing I suggest you google Hoax Slayer,you will also find out just how many scams are doing the rounds and make you aware to avoid them

Yes, one of my friends - Eve - asked me to collect them for a little girl that had cancer. If this is a scam I won't bother then !!

They are collecting them at Hillside Sports Bar as well. What kind of sick people do this. When people genuinely want help they won't get it if there are idiots like that around.
