LA MARINA BOWLS CLUB

On Saturday 21st February La Marina played the first leg of our annual Friendship shield and as always it was a close affair against Calpe, we drew on two rinks and lost on two, Calpe carry forward an 8 shot advantage for the last leg in 2 weeks time.

LA MARINA PATHFINDERS
This week we were at home to Country Bowls Flamingos,our points were 4 to La Marina and 10 for Country Bowls and shots of 91-118, well done to our two winning teams, Mike Stone and Jean and Terry Perchard had a great win by 20-14

LA MARINA ASTRONAUGHTS
Only managed 2 points this time when we were away to La Siesta Apollos and shots of 94-116
Paul Tregoing and Robert and Margaret Finlayson flew the La Marina flag by winning 19-11.

LA MARINA EXPLORERS
A good all round team performance from us today with a win of 10 points to 4 and shots were tight.....108-106, our top winning team was Ron Garland, Shirley Hadaway and Bobbie Sims by 24-12.
Our Federated Fours game against Quesada Leopards gave us 51-53 shots and 2 points to 6
Our winning team was Cathy Manning Jean and Terry Perchard and Jim Manning .

LA MARINA SEAGULLS
11 points to 3 was the score this week, and 120-95 shots against Horadada Royals, well done all of you, but top of the list was Steve Douglas, Steve Hindle and Len Daniels........wait for it.....37-8 !!

LA MARINA DOLPHINS
My apologies to all you Dolphins, I have had trouble in receiving your results on my email, all I know is that the score was 4 points to La Marina and 10 to Mazeron Miners. ( I will make sure all of this weeks goes in next week.

LA MARINA SHARKS
Brilliant result for the Sharks today against San Miguel Jaguars away, 10 points to us and 4 for the Jaguars, shot difference was 115-85, (even Bill Sims in shorts didn't put us off) our top winning team was Andy Bartlett, Barry Sadler and Dave Lewis, with a mighty score of 29-9.
