I was wondering if anyone could help me with some banking information please?
I've had my property on the Urb for 8 years and used the same bank (Sabadell, formerly CAM) and I overpay each month for my bills, so now I have accrued a little pot which I am finally going to use. After my families visit this summer my two young daughters and wife ganged up on me and have twisted my arm to finally get air conditioning.
I have arranged for the Installer to come out in September when I am over and I want to get the cash out to pay him (approx 2000 Euros). I know at my LLoyds bank in England up to £5K is avaialble if you walk in, anything over is ordered.
I have Internet banking and have e-mailed Sabadell from the site to no reply and the phone number on the site rings out.
I just don't want to turn up and not be able to get my money out to pay for the work.
Has anybody had any problems, or, can anyone reassure me that they have withdrawn their own money with no issues?

If you've got the money in your account, there would be no reason why you couldn't walk into the branch and withdraw it. I bank with La Caixa on the urb. and I can even withdraw up to 1200 Euros every 24 hours from the ATM, so in two days I could get 2k, without even speaking to anybody!

It's just that I'd read a few posts (from about 2 years ago to be fair) saying that Sabadells service was awful etc. I didn't want any trouble when I'm coming over for a relax.

Sabadell is an excellent Bank. I have never had any problems whatsoever.
